Can't Sleep....

Peter laid next to his husband. Wade made soft sounds. Peter loved Wade when he slept, always knowing he will have pleasant dreams. Peter tried to adjust to the darkness. How come he couldn't sleep? Peter didn't know. He rustled around on his side. "Huh? Pete? You ok?" Wade said, awaking from his rest. "Oh, It's nothing." Peter said. "No, really, tell me what's wrong." Wade told him. "Well, our daughter is going to High School. How will they treat her?" "What do you mean?" Wade asked, still oblivious to what his husband was getting at. "I mean how will those kids treat our Lily? Her parents are GAY for crying out loud!!!" Peter shouted with rage. "Please, Pete, stop it. They won't treat her different." Wade said, trying to reassure Pete, but it didn't work. "Do you know how teens treat kids like Lily? Have you? It's HORRIBLE!!!" Pete roared. "Please! Stop! Stop it!" Wade pleaded, tears streaming down his scarred face. "Wadey? Wade?!" Peter gasped. He crawled closer to Wade. "Sweetie, I'm sorry." he said softly, rubbing Deadpool's shoulder. "Sorry for what?" Wade  questioned, sniffling. "For yelling." Pete said quietly. "Don't be sorry for that. You were showing concerns for you daughter. That's all." Wade reassured, wiping his eyes. "Just sleep." he told Pete. "What abo-" "Don't worry. Everything will work out just fine."
